Message from Dean

Welcome to Raffles Christian School, Pondok Indah!

Serving as the Dean of Raffles Christian School, Pondok Indah Campus is both an honour and a privilege. I approach this role with a lifelong passion for working with children, and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. Drawing from 24 years of experience teaching various grade levels in both Primary and Secondary, specialising in Science and Physical Education, I bring a wealth of knowledge to our vibrant school community. Additionally, I have proudly served as a Deputy Dean of the primary level for the past decade, initially at RCS Kelapa Gading Campus before relocating to our esteemed Pondok Indah Campus.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed the evolution of education and the transformation of how learners approach their studies. The traditional method of teaching has become obsolete in our rapidly evolving world. I firmly believe in incorporating cutting-edge educational practices, embracing technology, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. These approaches not only equip our students for today’s challenges but also instil in them the skills and mindset to navigate the complexities of tomorrow.

I am a staunch proponent of holistic education, recognizing that academic success is just one facet of a student’s overall development. My dedication lies in nurturing leadership qualities in our students that extend beyond the confines of the classroom, encouraging them to become confident, responsible, and empathetic individuals capable of making positive contributions to society.

The foundation of a strong and resilient community rests on integrity, compassion, and ethical behaviour. I am unwaveringly committed to instilling in students a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others, fostering a spirit of mutual respect and understanding.
