My experience volunteering in Crackerjack was certainly unique. From learning and improving our basic human skills, dressing up as zombies, and witnessing participants trying their best to solve the different challenges given by Ms Faeza.

There were almost 100 participants that registered and they came from different schools in Jakarta and all of them descended upon Raffles Christian School Pondok Indah, which hosted the first ever Crackerjack event in Indonesia from 22-23 July 2023.

Participants were able to learn basic human skills such as leadership, collaboration, resilience, critical thinking, assertiveness and many more. They further showed these skills through the various activities assigned to them as well as surviving a zombie apocalypse, which happened in Day 2.

We volunteers dressed up as the zombies and infected the players, while they try to figure out how to cure the infected. In the end, there were no winners, only selected participants were given certificates about how they developed their human skills during the actitvities.
